Description
American Traveler is hiring a Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer with 2+ years of experience in a similar setting for a 13-week travel contract in Boston, MA.
Details
- Work in a radiology/ultrasound department with 10 exam rooms
- Caseload of approximately 10 patients per 8-hour shift
- Experience with abdominal Dopplers, renal transplant, and NICU head ultrasounds preferred
- Epic Radiant EMR preferred
- Flexible AM/PM rotating 8-hour shifts with schedules posted at least 2 weeks in advance
- Weekend availability required on an as-needed basis
- 40 hours per week
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar ultrasound/sonography setting
- 3+ years of experience preferred
- Active ARDMS certification required
- Active BLS required
- MA state license required if applicable
- Driver's license required for consideration
- 2 professional references on file, at least one from a manager-level or above (not listed as supervisor), including a performance evaluation; one must be within 12 months, the other within 3 years; references from other travelers are not accepted
Additional Information
- Candidates living within 50 miles of the facility may be subject to a local pay rate
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply provided they meet the minimum experience requirements
- Preferred reference from most recent temporary or travel assignment
