Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech) – Crisis Contract
📍 Location: Milwaukee, Wisconsin
🏥 Facility: Aurora St. Luke's Medical Center
⏳ Contract Length: 13 Weeks (through Aug 15, 2026)
⏱ Hours: 40 hours/week
📌 Shift: 8-Hour Days (start time between 6:00 AM – 8:30 AM)
📌 Openings: 1 Position
Position Overview
Advocate Health is seeking an experienced Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech) for a high-paying crisis assignment at Aurora St. Luke's Medical Center. This role requires strong experience in surgical/procedural imaging and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-acuity hospital setting.
Facility Highlights
• 636-bed Magnet-designated hospital
• Level III Trauma Center
• Level III NICU
• Primary Stroke Center
• 24/7 on-site radiology and critical care support
Department Overview
• 5 diagnostic rooms, 2 fluoro rooms, 1 video swallow
• Clinic: 2 diagnostic rooms, 3 pain clinic rooms, 1 dental room
• Average 15–20 patients per tech/day
• Fast-paced environment with high acuity
Patient Population
• Inpatient, Outpatient, and ED
• Procedural and surgical cases
• All age groups (minimal pediatrics)
Key Responsibilities
• Perform general radiology and portable imaging
• Assist in surgical and procedural cases
• Support fluoroscopy procedures (ERCP, bronchoscopies, urology, pain clinic)
• Work in OR cases including ortho, spine, and general surgery
• Ensure high-quality imaging and patient safety
Requirements
✔ Minimum 2 years of acute or surgical experience
✔ ARRT Certification
✔ Wisconsin State License
✔ BLS Certification
✔ Strong experience in surgical/procedural imaging
