Job Summary:
Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse (RN) Marquette, Michigan. This position supports a 24-bed specialty care hospital offering advanced services including open heart surgery, neuro-surgery, cath lab procedures, trauma care, and continuous renal replacement therapy. The RN will work night shifts in a dynamic environment, providing care to a diverse patient population in a facility dedicated to the highest standards of clinical excellence.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Nights; 12-hour shifts; minimum 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications; 2 years of experience in a Progressive Care Unit; located in Michigan; no minimum experience requirement listed as 0 years
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in CVICU, Neuro ICU, organ donation, or pediatric diabetic ketoacidosis (DKA)
- Additional Information: Floating may be required on a rotation with travel nurses. Responsibilities include caring for adults with post-open heart, heart failure, respiratory failure, trauma, post-stroke, and septic shock. Equipment used includes IV pumps, Omnicell, Prisma Flex CRRT, Impella, IABP, EVDs, ventilators, bipap, and high-flow oxygen.
