Pre-Op Holding / ASU unit in Wichita, KS.
The unit has 9 pre-op beds and 5 Phase II recovery beds with a 1:3 nurse-to-patient ratio.
Responsibilities include pre-op care for surgery, endoscopy, cath lab, EP, CT, infusions, EKGs, blocks, blood transfusions, and Phase II recovery for urology, gynecology, and other same-day surgery patients.
The unit uses Meditech EMR and requires participation in on-call rotation with a 30-minute response time.
Must-Haves
- Current acute care Pre-Op RN hospital experience (minimum 1 year)
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification
