Description
American Traveler is hiring a Travel RN OR Circulator requiring 5+ years of OR experience and a current AZ or compact RN license for a 13-week assignment in Fort Mohave, AZ.
Details
- Work in the Operating Room department of a state-of-the-art hospital with six major operating rooms and two endoscopy suites
- Adult population with some pediatric cases
- Common diagnoses/treatments include ortho, general surgery, podiatry, GYN, urology, and ENT
- Patient ratio of 1:1
- Uses standard OR equipment and CQI/MedHost EHR
- Mixed shift schedule, mostly days, from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM
- Every other weekend required
- On-call requirement of 1:3, dependent on staffing needs
- 13-week assignment
Requirements
- Active RN license (AZ or Compact) required
- BLS and other AHA certifications required
- CNOR certification preferred
- 5+ years of OR experience required
- RN degree required
- Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration
- Active Nursys/licensure verification required at time of submission
Additional Information
- Circulate for a variety of surgical cases including orthopedic, general surgery, podiatry, GYN, urology, and ENT procedures
- Strong focus on patient experience and being a team player
- Weekly orientation provided
- Hospital-provided scrubs
- Candidates must live 60 miles or greater from the facility to be eligible for travel rate; those within 60 miles are considered local
- Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
- Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full-time
