Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN for a 13-week travel contract in Tucson, AZ, with required circulating experience and robotics/general surgery background.
Details
- Hospital-based Operating Room (OR) setting in Tucson, AZ
- General OR cases including General Surgery, GYN, and Urology
- Circulating RN responsibilities required
- Evening shift: 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM (5x8s)
- On-call requirements: approximately 4–5 weekday call shifts and 2–3 weekend call shifts per month (7a–7p or 7p–7a on Saturday or Sunday); exact frequency varies based on department staffing
- Callback response time: must return to the hospital within 30 minutes of being called
- EMR: Cerner
Requirements
- Active AZ RN license or Compact RN license required
- Current BLS certification required; no certifications may expire within the first 30 days of the contract start
- Minimum 2 years of OR RN experience required
- Experience in Robotics, General Surgery, GYN, and Urology required
- Circulating experience required
- No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
- Valid driver's license required for consideration
Additional Information
- Scrubs are provided by the facility
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; local travelers will not be considered
- Candidates who have worked at any CHS facility as permanent staff within the past 2 years are not eligible for this position
- RTO requests must be for less than one week in duration
