6S Ortho/Med Surg Overflow RNUnit Description: Patients who have undergone bone and joint reconstructive surgery, joint replacement, orthopedic trauma surgery, or have experienced sports injury. Med/Surg overflow. Remote telemetry monitoring with off the unit station staffed by tech. Patient ages are 18 and older. Patient ratios typically 1:4 but will occasionally flex to 1:5.Unit acts under a team nursing modelShift: NIGHTS; 7P-7A, weekdays, EOW, float - 36hrs or 48hrs availableGuaranteed Hours Per Week: 36 or 48hr contract options - whatever RN prefers - OT after 48hrs for 4x12sOrientation Schedule: Orientation held every other week on Thursdays and Fridays. Insufficient documentation will result in a 2-week start date push. Orientation is held every other Thursday. All required information must be included at time of submittal. Submission Details: SSN and DOB required at time of submittal. RTO must be included at time of submittal. Minimum 2 years RN experience required. WV or Compact License required; pending license accepted for submission. Candidates must have a permanent address 100 miles from the facility.
