Job Summary:
The operating room (OR) nursing professional in Denver, Colorado, is responsible for supporting elective surgical procedures within a busy surgical unit. This role involves providing patient care during a variety of surgical cases, maintaining sterile techniques, and collaborating effectively with the surgical team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Certifications: Current license as a registered nurse, valid BLS and ACLS certifications; Education Requirements: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing; Location Requirements: Colorado licensure; Experience: At least 1 year of current hospital acute care operating room RN experience.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with orthopedic/spinal, cardiovascular (CV), or general procedures; familiarity with robotic surgery; prior work in sterile and surgical environments; ability to handle elective surgical cases across multiple specialties.
- Additional Information: Focused on elective surgical cases including orthopedic, spinal, general, cardiovascular, plastics, gynecology, urology, and robotic procedures. The unit maintains a dynamic team with experienced staff and advanced equipment, fostering a collaborative environment for perioperative care.
