Job Summary:
Medical Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) position in Concord, New Hampshire. The role involves providing high-acuity medical-surgical care on a specialized telemetry unit. This position is suitable for local candidates and requires flexibility to float to other designated facilities in the area.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Active New Hampshire or Compact Registered Nurse (RN) license, NURSYS license verification with all active RN licenses, BLS certification, NH State-specific certification (NHISS) prior to start, and ACLS certification. Candidates must take a Dysrhythmia Exam during onboarding with a preferred score of 80%. Experience includes at least 2 years in medical-surgical or telemetry units, with common patient diagnoses including pneumonia, COPD exacerbations, gastrointestinal bleed, osteomyelitis, diabetic foot infections, hepatic encephalopathy, renal failure, bowel obstruction, end of life care, wounds, and other high-acuity conditions.
- Preferred Qualifications: Cerner electronic medical record experience is preferred but not required.
- Additional Information: This position is on a high-acuity medical-surgical telemetry unit with a ratio of 1-5 (sometimes 6). Travel may include float options to Concord Hospital-Laconia or Concord Hospital-Franklin in New Hampshire. Applicants must include RTO (approved time off) requests at the time of submission.
