Job Summary:
Acuity Adaptable Unit Nurse Located in Franklin, Wisconsin. This position involves providing specialized patient care in a unit that is not a traditional intensive care unit, requiring skills in post-cardiac catheterization care, continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT), balloon pump, Swan measurements, and competency in sheath pulls. The role may include floating within the skill set or to sites within 40 miles, with shift coverage during night hours.
Job Details:
- Shift: Nights, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, two years of nursing experience including ICU experience with post-catheterization patients, CRRT experience, balloon pump and Swan experience preferred, competency in sheath pulls, prior travel experience, proficiency in EPIC electronic health record system, ability to float within skill set or to sites within 40 miles, and applicable certifications as needed.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with balloon pumps, Swan measurements, and EPIC EMR system.
- Additional Information: The assignment involves working in an acuity adaptable unit that supports patients with complex care needs, including post-cath care and various therapies. Prior travel experience is beneficial for successful integration into the role.
