Role responsibilities
What you’ll do as a Nephrologist:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and manage disorders of the kidneys and urinary system, including chronic kidney disease, acute kidney injury, hypertension, and electrolyte imbalances.
- Collaborate with primary care physicians, transplant teams, dialysis staff, nurses, and other healthcare providers to ensure integrated and comprehensive care.
- Develop individualized treatment plans for patients, adjusting them as necessary based on progress and new developments of their conditions.
- Educate patients and their families about kidney disease, treatment options, and strategies for long term health management.
Qualifications:
Qualifications you’ll need:
- Graduated from an accredited Medical School
- Board Certified or Board Eligible Nephrologist
- An active New York Medical License
