We are looking for a BC/BE nephrologist to join our active 100% Nephrology group in Lowell, MA.
Nephrology Associates of the Merrimack Valley is a group practice based in Lowell, MA and serving Lowell General Hospital. We are medical directors at dialysis clinics in Lowell, MA and Chelmsford, MA and have been operating a Transitional Care facility in Lowell since 2023. We are three full time nephrologists looking to grow to four.
Clinical scope is 100% nephrology and includes all aspects of inpatient and outpatient clinical practice and dialysis in-center and at home, all settings within an exceptionally manageable driving radius.
Our practice location in the Merrimack Valley 30 minutes northeast of Boston affords a unique opportunity for small town living, mid-sized city patient population, and the cultural and educational benefits of Greater Boston.
Hospital practice is 100% consultative in a busy community hospital with admitting hospitalists and a tertiary staffed 24/7 intensivist service.
Candidates will have passed their Internal Medicine boards and will be Board Eligible or Board Certified in Nephrology. The ideal candidate will be well trained, work easily with others and enjoy the challenges of clinical private practice.
This position will involve full and shared participation in all aspects of our clinical practice including office- and hospital-based nephrology, dialysis rounding and call on a 1 in 4 schedule.
Candidate will be stepping into an active practice with established clinic patient base.
This will start as salaried position, transitioning in three years to a full share in partnership. While we are looking for full time engagement, specifics can be flexible for the right candidate.
