Unit Details
- 3 ORs
- Daily case volume:
- Burlington: ~5/day
- Southern Lakes: ~15/day
- Lakeland: ~7/day
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 2+ years required
- First-time travelers not accepted

- EMR: EPIC (for viewing surgeries)
- Required experience with:
- Steris sterilizer/washer
- V-Pro sterilization system
- Preferred:
- SPM tracking system
Department Support
- Typically another Sterile Processing Tech on shift
- May work alone during:
- Low census
- On-call shifts
Floating
- Possible between:
- Lakeland Hospital (Elkhorn, WI)
- Southern Lakes (Burlington, WI)
- May float weekly or based on census
- Usually notified before shift
Orientation
- New Employee Orientation (NEO)
- 1–3 days unit orientation (based on comfort)
Schedule
- Shift: 06:30 AM – 03:00 PM
On-Call
- Required
- 1 weekend every 3 weeks
- Friday evening → Sunday afternoon
- No weekday call
- Response time: 45 minutes
Holidays
- 1 summer holiday
- 1 winter holiday
