Shift & Schedule
- 12-hour nights
- Shift times: 1830–0700 (0630–1900 for days)
- Weekend requirement: Every other

Certifications & Requirements
- Required: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
- License to Submit: Yes
- Driver's license required at submittal (used to verify 50-mile radius rule)
Radius Rule: Must live outside 50 miles
Patient Population
- Young adults through geriatrics
- Sepsis
- STEMI
- CHF
- Chest pain
- COVID
- Stroke
- Renal failure
- COPD
- DKA
- Complex medical issues including multisystem failure
Clinical Expectations
- RNs required to titrate drips
Support Staff & Equipment
- Charge nurse on each shift (takes assignment)
- CNAs: 1:10 ratio (availability fluctuates with census)
- RT equipment: BiPAP, Airvo
- Telemetry: Yes
- RNs must read and interpret their own strips

- May float to MedSurg
