HumanEdge Health is seeking an experienced Travel Operating Room RN to support a busy acute care surgical team in Willimantic, CT. This assignment requires a high level of independence, strong circulating experience, and proficiency with EPIC/Optime.

Position Overview:
Provide perioperative nursing care across General, GYN, Orthopedic (including MAKO Total Joints and Ortho-Spine), Urology, and select Endoscopy procedures. The RN will support pre-op, intra-op, and post-op care in alignment with physician orders and hospital protocols. Minimal orientation is provided; candidates must be able to run the room independently after unit orientation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare patients, rooms, and surgical instruments for procedures
• Circulate independently during operative cases and manage surgical equipment
• Maintain sterile technique and ensure compliance with safety protocols
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia, and perioperative team members
• Document and manage cases using EPIC/Optime
• Participate in AM on-call coverage and weekend rotations as scheduled

Requirements:
Required:

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Circulating OR RN
• Fluency with MAKO robot and Globus robotic systems
• High-quality experience in total joints, ortho-spine, general surgery, GYN, and urology
• Proficiency with EPIC/Optime
• Active CT RN license or compact license
• BLS

Preferred:

• Experience with lower-acuity Endoscopy cases
• Prior travel nursing experience

Scheduling Notes:

• Primarily 4 x 10-hour day shifts
• Flexibility to adjust to 5 x 8s based on surgical schedule
• On-call requirement: 1 after-hours shift per week and approximately every 5th weekend
