Shift: Day 4x10-Hour (07:00 – 17:30)Position: Operating Room RNImportant Notes / Hard Stops:Former Swedish permanent staff are NOT eligible to work as travelers—no exceptions, regardless of time elapsedAny prior Swedish perm staff is a hard stop for all OR units and OR specialtiesRobotics, General, Urology, GYN, Bariatrics, minor Vascular, Plastics, and Thoracic cases are hard stopsThoracic and vascular experience is REQUIRED to independently take call (hard stop if not met)Licensure:All Swedish facilities accept active Compact licensesExperience:Minimum 2 years OR experience required (screen out candidates with less than 2 years)Floating:Floating required to other ORs at the First Hill CampusCertifications:Required: BLS, ACLSPreferred: CNORScheduling & Call Requirements:Weekends: Based on unit needsCall:Three weeknight call shifts (11:00 PM – 7:00 AM)Three weekend call shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)Per 6-week schedule30-minute call response time requiredOR travelers receive schedules in 6-week intervalsVariable schedules are set in advance; any changes are discussed with the traveler beforehandOccasional schedule adjustments may occur, but availability is always confirmed first and is not frequentStaffing is adjusted based on patient volume, with voluntary flexibility prioritized among permanent staffShift Info: Day 4x10-Hour (07:00 – 17:30)
