Description
American Traveler is hiring a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with experience in PET/CT and general nuclear medicine studies, including proficiency with Siemens imaging equipment.
Details
- Day shift, 5x8-hour schedule from 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM, with slight shift variations based on patient scheduling
- Role requires rotation between General Nuclear Medicine (bone, gastric, hepatobiliary, renal studies, etc.) and PET/CT imaging
- Preferred experience performing a full range of PET/CT scans including general FDG Oncology, NET, PSMA, Neurology, and Cardiac imaging
- Equipment includes Siemens Symbia, Intevo SPECT/CT, and Biograph MCT Flow PET/CT cameras
- On-call is required for this position
Requirements
- Current BLS certification required
- ARRT (NM) or equivalent nuclear medicine technology certification required
- Experience with both PET/CT and general nuclear medicine procedures required
- Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and patient-centered care approach required
- 2 supervisor references from within the last 3 years required for consideration
- Kentucky state license required if applicable — allied health professionals may begin the process with a pending license but must obtain it prior to start
- Clean licensure history required — any licensure hits will result in disqualification
Additional Information
- Candidates whose permanent residence is within 100 miles of the facility are not eligible for this position
- Former permanent staff must have been separated from the facility for at least 6 months before returning as a traveler
- All requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed at the time of submission — RTO requests made after submission will not be approved
