Allied Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

Nuclear Medical Technician - Nuclear Med Technician / Radiology

Job Details:

• Work day shifts from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM
• Call rotation every fourth week (call begins Monday afternoon and ends the following Monday morning at 6:00 AM)
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• BLS and Kentucky license required
• Required certifications: ARRT R, ARRT (N), NMTCB
• Work with GE, Phillips, and Siemens equipment
• Perform various nuclear medicine procedures including abdominal, ventricular, whole body, bone, brain, liver, and renal scans
• Conduct specialized procedures such as Sestamibi parathyroid scans, adenosine infusion, exercise/rest studies, and pharmacological stress tests
• Handle IV starts and maintenance
• Work with patients of all age groups including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Provide services to inpatient, outpatient, ED, ICU, CCU, and NICU departments
• Must be comfortable with phlebotomy, EKGs, and PACS systems
• May float to different units as needed
• Complete required modules during orientation and annually
