Job Details:
• Work 12-hour variable day/night shifts
• 48 guaranteed hours per week with overtime after 48 hours worked
• Float to all inpatient units as needed
• Every other weekend and every other holiday requirements
• Can be low censused and put on call with 2-hour minimum call back pay
• Required certifications: Wisconsin RN License, BLS
• Minimum 2 years experience required, Trauma level II experience highly preferred
• EPIC charting experience required
• Work on MAP Unit (Medical and Pediatrics) - travelers do not take pediatric patients
• Treat adults with respiratory illnesses, stroke, neurological conditions, gastrointestinal illness, diabetic management, renal failure, urinary tract disorders, sepsis, wound care, clotting disorders, infectious diseases, and acute alcohol withdrawal
• Typical patient ratios: 1:4-5 on days, 1:6-7 on nights
• Any color scrubs permitted
• Must be outside 50-mile radius of facility
• Required education: Associate Degree or Certificate (Bachelor's Degree preferred)
• Must demonstrate resilience, flexibility, independence, and positive attitude
• During flu season, unvaccinated travelers must wear masks at all times per facility policy
