Description
American Traveler is hiring a Cardiac Catheterization Technician with 2+ years of invasive cardiovascular technology experience for a Cardiac Cath Lab position requiring BLS and ACLS certifications.
Details
- Cardiac Cath Lab setting within an acute care hospital system
- Procedures include coronary stenting, PTCA, atherectomies, peripheral angioplasty, carotid/iliac/renal angiograms, vascular and interventional radiology studies, and triple lumen catheter placement
- 4x10 hour day shifts, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM
- On-call required; no weekend shifts
- Late stays may be required to complete cases if the lab is still running
- May float to a nearby sister hospital
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of recent, full-time invasive cardiovascular technology experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required; must be AHA-issued
- Active Michigan license required if applicable
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a health or science field preferred
- Graduation from an accredited Invasive Cardiovascular Technology program preferred
- EP experience preferred
Additional Information
- Assist physicians in performing complex and invasive cardiac catheterization procedures
- Perform lab administrative duties and supply inventory management
- Online orientation modules must be completed onsite (typically one week prior to start) with a passing score
- COVID vaccination is mandatory
- No blocked scheduling
- All RTO requests should be submitted prior to assignment start; requests made after offer acceptance will be reviewed with management once the assignment begins
- First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
