Pediatric Nephrology Opportunities

Ochsner Children's Hospital is seeking Board Certified/Board Eligible Pediatric Nephrologists to joins our Pediatric Nephrology team in New Orleans, LA.

Ochsner Children's is the region's leading provider of integrated, multispecialty care for newborns, children, adolescents, and young adults, supported by a team of over 270 pediatric physicians, including 88 primary care pediatricians across 27 location in Louisiana and Mississippi.

Department Highlights
Clinical Care

• Provide inpatient and outpatient kidney care for children with acute, chronic and end-stage renal disease. 
• Partner with medical and surgical colleagues to serve children with complex conditions in multidisciplinary programs.

Program Development

• Opportunity to develop a pediatric kidney transplant program to complement existing pediatric liver, heart, and bone marrow transplant programs. 

Teaching and Research

• Teach medical students, resident and allied health students.
• Clinical and translational research opportunities abound for qualified candidates.
• Academic appointment commensurate with experience.
