PINE is a leading nephrology and endocrinology group in western Pennsylvania. For more than 35 years, the PINE physician practice has provided advanced treatment of kidney and endocrine diseases. The practice has over 38 providers across more than 14 convenient office locations in Allegheny and Washington counties. We have current openings for nurse practitioners and physician assistants.

Responsibilities:
Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) Management
- Patient assessment and diagnosis
- Treatment planning and management
- Educate patients on disease progression, lifestyle modifications, and treatment options
- Coordination of care to slow the progression of CKD and prepare for renal replacement therapy or transplant
Dialysis Management
- Treatment planning and management for patients with End Stage Renal Disease (ESRD)
- Complete monthly visits, monitoring patients’ dialysis treatments
- Evaluate vascular access function
- Collaboration with nephrologists and other care team members
- Participating in interdisciplinary meetings
Hospital Coverage
- Manage and monitor patients with kidney-related issues, including acute kidney injury (AKI), ESRD, and CKD
- Hospital rounding
- Weekend call (no night call)

Candidate Qualifications:
- Master's of Science in Nursing (MSN)
- Master's in Physician Assistant Studies
- Current Nurse Practitioner Licensure or Physician Assistant Licensure
- National certification
- Current certification in CPR
- Preferred experience in nephrology (Great to have, but not required; training is available.)
