Requirements
What you’ll do as a Nephrologist:
Evaluate, diagnose, and manage disorders of the kidneys and urinary system, including chronic kidney disease, acute kidney injury, hypertension, and electrolyte imbalances.
Collaborate with primary care physicians, transplant teams, dialysis staff, nurses, and other healthcare providers to ensure integrated and comprehensive care.
Develop individualized treatment plans for patients, adjusting them as necessary based on progress and new developments of their conditions.
Educate patients and their families about kidney disease, treatment options, and strategies for long term health management.
Qualifications you’ll need:
Graduated from an accredited Medical School
Board Certified or Board Eligible Nephrologist
An active New York Medical License
