Candidate must have BLS & ACLS
Electric Physiology Preferred
**Schedule: 10- hour shift, 4- days a week 7am-530pm On-Call Required No Weekends
**There are "late days" where candidate may be required to stay late to finish a case if the lab is still running.**
Job Summary:
-Perform a variety of technical and supportive patient care tasks to assist physicians in performing complex and invasive cardiac catheterization procedures to include, but not limited to: Vascular and Interventional Radiology studies, Coronary stenting, percutaneous transluminal coronary angioplasty, atherectomies, peripheral angioplasty, carotid angiogram, iliac angiogram, renal angiogram, triple lumen catheter placement. -Perform lab administrative duties and supply inventory.
Required Skills & Experience:
-Must have at least 1-2 years of recent cath lab experience.
-Two (2) years full-time Invasive Cardiovascular Technology experience
Required Education:
-High School Graduate or G.E.D.
-An Associate's Degree or equivalent college hours (62 semester hours) in health, science, natural science, nursing, engineering, or any primary science or higher AND one (1) year (full-time or full-time equivalent) in Invasive Cardiovascular Technology. OR -Baccalaureate degree in health, science, natural science, nursing, engineering, or any primary science. OR -Graduate of an accredited (by CHEA, USDOE, or CMA) program in Invasive Cardiovascular Technology. OR -Graduate of a NON-programmatically accredited program in Invasive Cardiovascular Technology which has a minimum of one (1) year of specialty training and includes a minimum of 800 clinical hours.
